Like so many people, I discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture while trying to improve my overall health and wellness. The holistic approach and the precision with which the needles were placed to activate the body’s natural healing processes resonated with me and ultimately served as a turning point in my life. The focus of my work has always been supporting people in meaningful ways. For 20 years, I served as a Detective Inspector in the police force, primarily within Child Protection, but after the birth of my daughter, the time felt right for a change. I embarked on a Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and after qualifying, I established myself as an acupuncturist in Bournemouth, Dorset. I now specialise in acupuncture for fertility. I support women to conceive naturally, and also with IVF using the power of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I work closely with couples and individuals who are trying to conceive for the first time, experiencing pregnancy loss and navigating infertility. My expertise in acupuncture for infertility includes extensive training in IVF and other ARTs (Assisted Reproductive Technologies) and by fostering a strong working relationship with your fertility clinic and consultants, I can deliver safe and supportive person-centred guidance, treatment and aftercare at every stage. My clinic provides a tranquil space where I offer a holistic consultation and a bespoke treatment plan to all new clients.
